New shifter for 2000 SE

Well I'm looking for a new shifter for my 2000 Maxima SE (A/T) I really have no idea of what kinda shifter would be an easy swap out. I'm sure some one in here has definitely swapped out their shifter for one better than the stock one. Any input would be really appreciated, I did find this one on amazon but i have no idea if it would actually work and even if it would I don't know if I would put it in lol

I like the one below that's shaped like a grenade. Not sure if it would work on a shifter without a **** like the maxima without some serious modification. You could do it if you had an 02-03 shifter assembly though.

You should get a short throw shifter kit for you A/T Maxima. Shift times will be much improved.

I think a shift **** that look like a gun handle is joke enough. But to each his own. It will probably be more money or time than it is worth to get this custom shift **** to work with the overdrive function in your car. But good luck to you on the attempt.

I believe you are confused. You must be thinking about a manual transmission.
