tire size ntk asap!

Ok got a 2k2 6spd stock size is 225/50/17 I have had 245/45/17 loved they way looked and hooked but the insides were smoked off in no time. So question is what size should I get I was thinking 235 something but I want wide but don't want to smoke the insides off. Alignment is perfect and our car has stock -camber so is there a cam kit or something to raise that but I don't really want to... I just want to know what size to get without smoking edges off also getting these before the weekend so today would be awesome to know thanks guys in advanced

Why not just stock size?

If there's one other tire size that's worked for me, it's 235/45, properly inflated. When you say "smoked" I guess you mean the edges wear? Isn't that still an alignment issue?

I would just go stock.

I've used 245's on an 8" wide wheel @ +45 offset and no smoked edges ever occurred.

IMO, 225's look best since they fill out the fender gap if you're not like some on here and scraping your crossmember on 3-5mm pebbles.

I would suggest having the alignment checked before you swap from OEM size. Aside from a bunch of mods, there is no need to deviate from oem size imho.

Care to explain what that means?

IMHO 235/45-17 are too low profile on stock rims. Visually makes the awesome Nissan fender gap even more awesomer.

I've been running 245/45-17's for a couple years now on G35 coupe 17's and have absolutely no abnormal wear on the tread and speedometer is almost exact with stock tire size.

Running Nexen 245/45-17 N7000's right now. Installed last week. So far love them... Prior to that I had Firehawk GT's.

I'm lowered on ebaichs and I can check alignment but I had 245/45/17 goodyear eagle f1 supercars they just stuck corners like no tomorrow maybe because they were runflats that they smoked the edges off? I mean so stiff that with no rim I couldn't even flex em so I got to order tires. So i have time to check alignment but I want traction baaaad the 245 would hook way good while 225 would just spin like cake (falken ziex 912) I just want good tires looking at bridgestone potenza RE760 sport ultra high performance summer will these tires in a 225 hook good? Cause they would be cheaper and stuff... but thanks for all the help ill check back tomorrow. It will be ordering tomorrow night 99% sure

I've ran wider tires on factory wheels on cars i've previously owned, and never had any abnormal tire wear. Get the alignment checked before you put tires on the car, no matter what size you get.

I'm still confused about "smoked edges". Runflat tires are supposed to have stiff sidewalls so that you can drive on them when they "runflat".
