Id agree but I am pretty sure I know what I am doing, I have done plenty of axles and the cv never seperated during install. All seemed fine. I dont see how an installation issue would last for about 1000 miles and shatter the way it did.

I got a good question. Since I have an lsd tranny brand new for an 05 max, shouldnt I have still had traction going to my wheel with the good axle. I couldnt go anywhere. When I would let go of the clutch the broken axle would just spin and no power it seemed like to the other wheel. Granted I was on a hill and all but would the hlsd not transfer power to the wheel at that point or do I have a defective tranny?

Brought the axle back in today and they asked what if I already bought another one. I replied that I put back in my fine oem axle. No question they refunded me and told me they stopped working with the manufacture because they have been having a lot of issues with them lately. This is foreign car parts groton located in old saybrook ct.

On a side note they informed me that there is two different dss makes. They said this one was the crappy one and there is a better one. I doubt they use the same part numbers. Anyone have any idea if this is the case?

We have had fitment issues with sets we were getting for our 4wd cars and stopped using aftermarket

Now I'm worried about using the one I have here now :/

It is very scary. I will be removing my driver side also and put back in my oem.

Who knows it may explain my slight vibration from 80 to 90 mph
