If that can be used in place of the Y pipe, think of the weight savings by getting rid of that heavy catalytic stuff!

I just got back from midas.they want $265 just to weld it back on the flange or $340 to cut the flange off and sleeve it!!!!! Are they out of their mind? With this piece broken would that be why every once and a while i get the p0430 code?

Were the guys at Midas wearing masks and pointing guns at you? That's very similiar to what happened to me a bunch of years ago when I went to Midas to get some welding done. Found a little independent shop that did exactly what I wanted, did good work and charged a very reasonable price.

i went to 2 other independent places and even both of them wanted over $100 to weld it back on.i dont know what size sleeve to get cause at the prices im getting im doing this myself.

man get yourself a 2 1/2" Diameter piece of flex pipe from pepboys and 2 clamps cut both flanges off and put the flex on when you have cash goto the group deal section and check the venders to get a replacement exhaust for a discount
