Figured out what was wrong with my AC

Well some of you may remember me mentioning that my AC in my 03 was not really up to the Florida heat. Everything checked out and I even bought one of those refill canisters from Autozone. Well I took it to my buddies hsop and found some things out. I had too much Freon in it and there was an air bubble in the system. The lower pressure and high pressure was fluctuating like crazy. Temp on low with the recirc button on and ac on 60 was 50 degrees. He vacuumed the system and loaded in 1lb of freon (system could not pump in .99 like the cars needs). Also added a bit of oil to the system. After letting the AC run on low recirc set on fresh air the temp was now on 43 degrees on the temp probe set in the center vent. Thank goodness! Now the AC now stings when its on! Low pressure is steady around 32 and high 137. I think the compressor may not be so stressed so I may pick up a MPG!
