Help-Cling cling metal sound when turning
Something new and can't figure it out-->when making a hard left turn there is a cling cling cling metal sound coming from the front wheel.
I took a look and the boot looks fine, as well as everything else. (it's not the click click sound you get with a bad CV joint)
Sounds like a higher metal sound...
Any ideas?????
Thanks

Update:
The stearing bump caps looked fine but the rotor sheilds looked very close to the rotors, so...from the front of the wheel with the wheels turned all the way to the left and right, I took a long screwdriver and from the inside of the rotor pushed both sheilds out away from the rotor. (what I did was place the flat end of the screwdriver between the rotor and the sheild and then rotated the screwdriver.)
Problem solved!! Clanging sound is gone!!! You guessed it shortymust.
Thanks for taking the time to help CustomLowz and Shortymust!
Just wonder why the sheild would work themselves in and contact the rotors. Never had that happen before
