Quick slackin.

Wire harnesses come in today

I think I'll order the Gauge Cluster today while I'm at it.

Nothing goofy needed for those right? They can plug right into any MT ECU correct? That's what my computer @ work tells me....

ALSO:

What will cause super long or no starts?
ECTS
and Fuel Pump?

I'm getting a fuel pump today and I will buy a ECTS.

Anything else to do?

The dash harness? Or the engine harness came in?

If you're talking about the engine harness, then yes it will plug into any MT ECU. The dash harness doesnt have ECU connectors on it. Unless your're talking about the actuall cluster.

I mean do I have to get the cluster programmed to the ECU, anything wacky like that.

weak battery or a starter on the way out will do this too. Test those first.

nope. The only things that need to be programmed are the key/ignition/ecu.

You still wanna use the 6MT dash harness? When I talked to the fast aaron, he told me that it doesnt matter if I use the 6MT harness with the AT ecu. It will throw those CAN errors, but that "limp mode" it puts cars into is just a 3rd gear lock. It keeps the car in 3rd for the autos. I change my own gears so I wont have to worry about that.

New battery and Starter w/ the motor.

Damn near everything under the hood has been replaced.

Alternator
Condensor
Radiator
Engine (All new looking sensors on the engine, makes me think it's the fuel pump, but a new sensor isn't going to break the bank so I'd rather just buy it)
Engine Fans
MAF
Starter
Battery
Engine Mounts

Word up my nikka.

At this point, you can damn near drop the motor in, drop the harnesses in, wire up that one relay and the car will start and run. Just have to worry about body control functions at that point.

You're technically one step closer than me. You've got all the transmission ish ready. You just need an unmodified 6MT flywheel and your good to go. If I had that part ready. I'd have it in already. I had 2 days off.

I already have it

I ordered it after I messed up my modded 6mt flywheel ring...

Just gotta unbolt the old one and bolt in the new one (Fidanza FW).
