I always try to get my GF's on the shot. I had a gf on the pill and she def did not want to get pregnant but she still forgot. It is just too easy to forget. WIth the shot its a one time deal and you are good for months depending on the brand. Plus its free at the health dept.

thats the first thing I thought and from now on he will be the butt of the accidental pregnancy jokes. Hopefully he will be back. Nice guy just doesn't seem to have the best sense of humor. Offended easily like me sometimes which is why Clashez loves him so much I suppose

Yes, but a Postiive displacement has 2 major downfalls:
1. Horrible sound
2. Constant boost
Centrifugal trumps in 2 big ways when you want a DD IMO:
1. sounds awesome
2. can operate like a N/A engine under normal driving conditions. running vacuum still. Less invasive issues due to this as well as prolonged internal engine life (if stock internals) because they're not seeing constant boost like they do with twin turbos or positive roots blower

Constant boost? No... The supercharger on my car has a diverter valve which didn't boost until you mashed down on the gas... and then you got instant tire scorching boost, and torque.
Remember, Eaton supplied many car manufacturer's with roots superchargers. The M-90 used on my GTP was also used on the Thunderbird S/C, for example. Various models are used on cars such as the Mini Cooper S before they went turbo, to AMG Mercedes.

Horrible sound? Are you nuts? The first thing I did when I bought my GTP I used to own was the intake so I could hear the Eaton roots (twin-screws are different and aren't positive displacement superchargers like a roots is, btw) sing it's siren song. And twin-screws (Whipple, Kenne-Bell) have a much higher pitch over the roots due to their different internal design.

I agree whole heartedly. The sound of that super charger is just so wicked. Reminds me of the last police interceptor in Mad Max. The sound of a whining S/C and the blow-off of a turbo, and finally the sound of a pegged healthy V8 are just about the sweetest sounds on planet Earth...that and a Remignton over-under shotgun cocking...

Bish!!!!! It's called a flat head screwdriver. Before you take the pads off, stick the screw driver in the vein of the rotor and pry back and forth to the push the piston in before everything comes off.

Good idea no monster power though. 350-400 whp is plenty.
Yes, I have one, but it will need some .... er... motivation to get it half decent.
Hence why buying one already built is much more appealing. I don't have a sterile environment ot build an engine.
Also, I CF wrapped the pillar this morning. And I actually dont mind it. First cf job so far that doesn't look aweful.
I will let it settle in for a week or so and if I still like it probably do it in REAL CF.
And it means the roof, etc will all need to be done in a black fabric or something also.

Everybody has their lesser qualities here. Few will admit to it.

Can't we just make some sort of poll on whether we should (YES) ban clashtard? Would save everybody ALOT of pain and suffering.

Seems my knowledge on them sucks.
doesn't change the fact I don't want one, I've heard them on this car and they sound ghay. Maybe it's just htis car.

Can someone give me an opinion? I drove by a local Nissan dealer to check on an 08 altima 3.5 SE 45,000KM mint no accidents etc. They were asking 18,900, and it's closed now BUT the window sticker said 8,995. Obviously something's wrong. If this is a mistake, as it likely is, What will they do when i show up at 9 tomorrow morning and tell them i'll take it for the window price?

I lived upstate for five years in the Syracuse suburbs before I moved to Pennsylvania. In fact, I had a great aunt who had a beautiful house right on the lake outside of Rochester that my dad took me to visit every so often. It was maybe 15 minutes away from Seabreeze. We drove right by there on the way every time.

They won't honor it is what they'll do, the thieving tards. They'll say it was a mistake by their lot attendant and I don't think you can even legally hold that price to them if you call the cops. And I guarantee you the higher you take it at the stealership, the louder the NO will be... I never buy cars from a stealership anymore. The last time I did was when a good buddy of mine was GM at a Nissan dealership and I could have any used car I wanted off the lot for whatever they were into it plus 500 bucks. I'd just sit at his desk with him and look at the computer going over different cars. That was awesome... Now he's a real estate broker.

Just took the wife to see Gabriel Iglesias live in person at the palm beach improv. My stomach hurts from laughing so hard. Got to talk to him too and he really is a down to earth person.
