I was thinking (more guestimating) that 9.0-9.5 is the range I want to be in for my peak 15 psi boost.

Now running stock compression ratio with lower boost does look appealing as well.......

What this seems to bring to light for me, is that I have more to learn before I decide on engine/SC.....

I do know that higher boost means potential for Header damage, which requires more money in headers, it will also wear the Supercharger faster, and alongside that, the higher boosting superchargers are more expensive.

So I'm thinking 10 PSI of boost is more reasonable. Easier on the wallet, Supercharger, and intake/exhaust system. Also, my top end will remain stock for a decent time and as such only so much air will be able to get in anyhow.....

Dunno. More to learn I guess. I think I'm really better following your guys suggestions of getting the SC kit first and boosting this motor. Just being careful with it while I learn more and prep for the engine build/purchase.

600cc bikes are typically labeled as girl's bikes because of their lower power output from the small engine, and the bikes are also smaller and sit lower, making them easier to handle for someone short, like a girl, for example.

A good body shop can make it look like it never happened.

I can understand that, considering the car isn't cheap.

Yea redo the whole car... reason why is because while a good paint shop can make it look like it was never painted they would almost have so semi match the aging paint for the rest of the car... just redo the whole thing and have new paint all around

Well this is tough for me to admit, and I'm having a hard time believing it myself, but I figure to try this first on an internet forum full of ppl who don't have a real direct impact on things here......

Put me on the Mr. Brett and GH17 list for the next few months.... too many coincidences going on right now and I have to be mentally prepared for what could happen......

The Ted gif made me laugh, especially because I found a bowl when I was cleaning out a golf cart at work today. That certainly spiced the day up a little bit.

One of the dumbest things i have done in a while was sell this thing last year, I have always been huge into bikes and if i could stop sinking money into my car id like to buy another one over the winter. Some scary **** boiling the rear tire off at 100 plus miles per hour, Loved every minute though. Bike made 172 wheel hp and 232 with a 60 shot of laughing gas

My buddy has that bike. He didn't buy bigger for that fact that it's more than enough to kill yourself in 3 secs flat from hitting the throttle. Hauling on the hwy is dangerous enough. If he gave himself even more power he's going to use it haha.

Do you have to know bikes to look at that and think it's cool? Because that looks cool. Much more so than most of the cars on this forum.

Thanks man, It took me two winters to get it to that point, I finally got it perfect and then sold it, Seems to be a common mistake with me lol. No muffler on that thing either, straight dump right out the header, Use to melt sneakers on the regular from popping flames

i agree... most i would go is the GSXR 750 burnt orange... but i dont think there is any such "girly" bikes unless thats something ppl use on bike forums, i have a friend with a 600 thats crushing modded 1000's... dont ask me how... but i know the fewest lbs shed on a bike is night n day difference

I have never seen that before unless the 1000 has an extremly bad rider mod. 600's rev a couple k higher than the 1000's but they dont have the torque. Its like taking a b18 integra and racing a modded 6mt Maxima. Even though the teg can shift at 8k it's not going to make a ***** worth of difference. I have owned a 600 and a 1000 and it's a world of difference even stock for stock.

Yea, its a nice bike actually. Easy to ride. This one has some work done to it though. So it hangs with higher cc bikes.
