Backwards, isn't that? But the point is fruitful. I've never really tried that I should, especially because any time I'm launching it's just street crap, a slight roll is a great idea.

Theyr'e all different. Some engage brakes via. ABS system, some cut out spark to cylinders, some close throttle plate, etc.

The G, I think, utilizes all 3 of these, in different moderation depending on the circumstances.

The G, 350z and probably the Maximas, also rob engine power electronically while braking. Making brake stands/auto launches, and heel-toe work totally redundant.

lol

Don't worry even with it "off" you won't do anything silly the car will still stop you. (within reason, of course)

We talked about this a while back with Mr.Brett, this is the same reason you can't do a burnout for more than a sec or 2, and also why you can't complete a full donut. Trac does take over even if it's switched off. Unless you disconnect it completely, and also disconnect the G sensor

Expensive. I didn't say it was new, I just hadn't been exposed to it's epicness until now. I just figured it was just another fake carbon vinyl.

Which it is, to some degree, but this is a whole different level.

Thankya. I've been practicing on the G. That was my first attempt at buffing an entire body panel, believe it or not. I've also been taught by a guy who was a body man for 20+ years, though.

So I'm noticing that my HID's may not be 100% matching and I think it's due to the glass than anything else (fogs vs headlights). The bulbs are the same temp, same brand, and were installed at the same time. When one is on, so is the other.

This is making me thinking about getting 3k bulbs but i'm honestly on the fence about it.

That's all you need is a slight roll, which is done while slipping the clutch.

I know later honda V6s do it by coil pack, they also eliminate tq steer by dancing w/ coil backs while heavy throttle is detected.

Sadly no idea how Nissan does it.

Nor do I care

What'd you use? I'm just getting in the cut/buff on the G now, my first time.

I have Meguiars #6 compound, #3 or #4 swirl remover, and then the Yellow Wax stuff.

You know what would be the greatest trolling move of all time? If Clashez all of a sudden started speaking in clear and coherent English with proper grammar and a wide range of vocabulary and explained to us he's really an Italian immigrant millionaire who pisses off Maxima.org members in his spare time while he's not tending to his many small businesses.

HIDs will color-shift after a few hours' worth of use. Sometimes up the spectrum, sometimes down, depending on the salts in the bulbs. The glass may also play into it.

I was going to get 3k HIDs for my fogs on the G, but at the risk of losing my high beams, I opted for a set of Luminics yellow halogen bulbs.

5000k lows and 3000k fogs are win. Yellow is great in bad weather (rain/snow/fog).

I wet sanded it first with 3000 grit sand paper. Then, I went and hit it with a wool pad, and some of this:

Followed by a white wool pad, with this:

Then a black foam honeycomb pad with the ultimate compound, another pass with a black foam honeycomb pad with:

Then a black foam honeycomb pad with:

And then went over it with the Finesse-It with a microfiber towel by hand.

Then, waxed it with:

I used a Snap-On buffer with a variable speed trigger. Runs up to 3000 RPMs. I stayed in between 1800 and 2200, though.

You won't take off too much paint as long as you keep the buffer moving, and make sure you have plenty of polish to keep the paint from getting too hot.

So R.I. gave a video game company (Studio 38) $75Million to produce games and they failed because nobody bought their games (idk what games they have made) so they defaulted on their first payment of $1million . Since RI politicians are idiots they believed this group was going to make good games & bring money to the state AND Gov. Why not? I like having a polished finish to my car. It's personal preference. Also, there were a lot of swirls and some oxidation spots on the paint that I was trying to get out.

I don't buff my car every weekend. This is the first time I've done it in the year I've owned it. The reason you can get away with clay bar and wax so easily is because your car is beige; it hides imperfections well. Far better than black does.

I have no idea how much the orbital cost. It was my friend's. The ability of having a speed-sensitive trigger is worth the extra cost. And yes, I did take advantage of that.

100% agree, 3000K fogs are better at cutting through rain/fog w/o glare than a higher color temp. I did the fog relay mod, & when it's really foggy I can see better with the headlights off.
