Been busy. What up?

 

I used them mori bi h1 projectors and the high beams arnt working

 

I have these as well and whenever I use my high beams it just blows the fuse for the headlight. I suspect my HID adapter harness as being the culprit since it was giving me other problems when I did the install. The high beams will work if I hook up the lights individually but if they are both connected the fuse just blows.

true story lol... i ate a whole box of them within maybe 2 or 3 games of call of duty 4 lol.. my fiance still reminds me of how greedy that was... i ate all 12 with a glass of milk lol..

 

The light stays on but the output doesnt change.the fuse issue sounds like your not using a relay harness

I'm using the relay harness recommended by MSU2000 off ebay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/HID-Xenon-H4...item2a12ebd0fb At first I had your issue where the lights stay on but the high beam actuator would not move. After messing with the relay harness a bit more and cleaning my grounds I got them to work individually but would just blow the fuse when both were connected. I eventually got tired of messing with it and ran out of fuses so I just decided to wait till I get the harness from TheRetroFitSource.com to see if the problem continues.

 

lol, there was even a better deal, k-sport coils 3 rebuilt about 300mi ago and one still busted for $300... not interested though

i'm not gona lie...if i end up getting one i dont think i'll be mad, i think i'll be safe w/ the auto in the 4th gen and not have to worry about a failing transmission, i dont remember seeing threads w/ 4/5th gen auto problems, aside from your post

 

only reason i havent gone that route is because of the $$$ to do it... $300 to install lowering springs or cut the oem ones is dumb IMO

 

$300 to cut springs?!? the *** you going at? lol go to advance, get the spring compressor kit and take the springs off yourself then take em to get cut

 

have you spoken to the fenwicks as of late??? im sure they are right behind in trans... but you wouldnt need to worry about any of them you were always gonna be slow and no power adder so the trans should be good to go

but yea if i got an auto you know for sure it'd just be a chill vehicle..i might find a nice axle back that looks something like stock, just polished and a ypipe and call it a day...get that engine bay super clean...pretty much be the same style as the integra is right now

older used cars id consider outside of the vq... MKIII jetta, passat, SC or GS lexus, eclipse or coupe S13... but i would prefer to just go with something newer

 

eff that i'll never buy lowering springs again..i'd rather cut

if i got a 4th gen...coilovers, wheels, axleback/muffler, tint, hopefully it has a bose stereo, so i'd just swap the headunit and add a sub call it a day

looked at a GS3 yesterday, 9K...119k miles...i walked away, realizing i want a truck

 

IMO GS300's are still over priced.. $9K from a private party is a lot of cash to drop, ill just use that as a big **** down payment on something newer... i still like those 08 09 2.0T audi's, but with a 9K down payment there is a lot of options out there, at that point i can grab a 08 550i...

about the springs... have you ever driven on cut springs on the maxima??? shyt is the worse bro... ill rather get some cheap **** lowering springs and drive on em with stock shocks
