It was sarcasm. Tired of hearing that garbage on the news. Less people working = less jobs = less economy. But they call it shrinking government...but they STOLE Social Security Funds and mismanaged everything now they all broke and want to fire people to compensate for their greed! More families struggling, more people foreclosed on, less demand, which means more companies laying people off.....it goes on and on and on. Corruption.... don't get me started!
I agree! The Politicians, special interest groups & pork barrel constituents (e.g. this & that committee/study etc.) are the thieves who've robbed the coffers & bankrupt the country. They've got a good gig going (w/perks) and need to justify their existence. The truth is our government is top heavy & fiscally irresponsible. In fact they are the only ones who vote themselves raises at our expense. You won't see them cut their salary because the economy is suffering. THAT'S THE PROBLEM & don't let anyone spin that fact into more BS. They point out the little guys "WORKING" at the bottom in government as the problem. It's not necessarily those government employees that are at fault. Since they are paid less than an equivalent private sector job. And a majority of those government jobs have already taken benefit/personnel/salary cuts.
