I've a buddy who every year drops about $2k on fireworks. It's all very elaborate.
Still haven't got to it yet. Had record rainfall last month from two tropical storms and all the standing water left behind has created crazy numbers of mosquito's. If I had a garage it would have been done long time ago. Working on your car living in an apartment sucks!
Ahem...I live in a Condo & did mine. "Excuses are like...."I've got similar issues my rad support is starting & my rear fenders are in worse shape. So I can relate/sympathize to devoting funds to those as a priority. That said I still putter with the little stuff that I can do on the cheap. Though admittedly my level of enthusiasm suffers.
Played halo last night until 3am with the brother in law...haven't done that in awhile. Now sitting in front of wife's work waiting for her to get the hell out...23 mins late right now...why did I volunteer to drive her in / pick her up? Dayum.

Guess we need to agree to disagree. I've got a bad feeling re: The current trends towards Plutocracy in our society. However, it's been proven time & again throwing money at a problem never solves it. I could say I remember when, but won't play the age card.

I've been trying to talk her into it but she doesn't want to pay for it. She has an HD tv and the picture looks like crap. She got the receiver from her mom who had an extra, and she got her brother in law to install the dish on the storage shed in the back yard.
My Sony Trinitron tube t.v. I have with a digital converter box has a better picture than her current setup. But I guess she can't complain since she gets to watch satellite t.v. for free.

Take picture an post.as far as the picture being bad if she got non hd on a hdtv it looks like smack.you have the widescreen trini? if you do it has component inputs damn i hate them tv and the tube mitsubishi heavy frackin things i ran into a mitsubushi that had a granet top one time f that recycle haulaway shat

Ok she got a tripsat dish go into the dish pointing menu and check signal levels on 101,110,119 should all be above 85 and make sure all transponders little blocks are within 10 of each other.call get your free upgrade of dish and recievers dont get whole home and try to get a new HDDVR for yourself.the dish should be set to elev *52 azm*32 and compass setting *228 * is degrees should be 4 rg6 lines from dish to house

Now, learn me how to free up cable. I have cable internets, but the over-air HD signals are, conveniently, no longer strong enough to reach me. I only want the local channels that are suppose to be free anyway.
Yup... Very true... Can't really remember the advantages... Might be a screen thing but for free.... Yea let it stay lol
