Some good points here. Some dumbass ones too.
Personally I think it's dumb as hell to use that word. It will always be controversial unless a black person says it to a black person. And that fact in itself is racist on it's own. Only one race can use the word, but they can strew it out to other races and expect that the other races NEVER say the word back? Think for a second how utterly ridiculous that is.
If you hang out with a bunch of black dudes all the time that use that word, it's normal for you to adopt the lingo, that's basic human adaptation. But you have to conscienciously NOT use it all the time.
It's ******* ridiculous, I wish people would just stop using it and there'd be no problem at all.

I think it should be just as bad for any race, but we know in life everything has a double standard... for example 18 to vote but 21 to buy alcohol... ur man enough to vote at 18 but not man enough to buy liqor... if you think your son is spoiled its fine but if you go in public and somebody you dont know tells you ur son is a brat then you take offense to it... everything is a double standard, and no im not making a case for a blk person to call a blk person a ******, thats not what im saying... im simply saying knowing something is bad, dont encourage it to be worse, get what im saying???
