Maybe her lawn really needs mowing? And flirting with guys is just her way with men when she needs work done.

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. No offense to your ego there, big guy.

Flirt. No doubt about it. I've known many women like that, and 9:10 times they're trying to get men to do things for them. It's just how they're wired.

It's usually creepy, yes. But when they're hot, it's also stupidly effective.

Just read about ghustles hood. jesus man... it's like that scenario where you have hood pins on a car that doesn't need them (speed wise) but needs them for everyday driving. That wobble makes me nervous sometimes, especially after a nice wash.

Nissan sells a rubber weatherstrip kit for the upper channel on the headlight lenses. It was designed to affect under-the-hood airflow dynamics at high-speed, and reduce hood wobble.

I've often thought about that. It must be kind of weird for merovi to see pictures of his car posted by someone else, or bumped by an old thread. But on the flip side, it's kind of weird for me to see someone else post pictures of my old car... so there's plenty of weirdness to go around.

Didn't we both get a vote in your thread last week?

Of course, you were the winner, hands down. Didn't see that one coming, did ya?

You misunderstand. We're each posting pictures of the same car. I owned it and modded it. Now he owns it and is modding it.

Nothing strange happened until I got to the Airport today, that's when all of the freaks came out

I got ahold of him.

I think so.

Shutup.

I'm normal.

No. And I'm too lazy to find it.

It should run under $20. Just call your local Nissan dealership parts dept and describe it.

It seems like this is a common problem on Nissan cars. Not any particular model, but in general.

Both of my Maximas did it, my G does it, my mom's G does it, the Z does it...need I continue?

I think just about every single Japanese import I have ever driven/ridden in has done it.

Which reminds me of another controversial thread. That 'headers??' thread where that guy was trying to sell ported/gutted pre-cats & big MAF adaptor. No action since the supposed Dyno testing to prove his theories. Maybe it didn't turn out so well?

Maybe mine was fixed, I don't ever recall a hood wobble @ stupid speeds.

Then again my 01 was rarely at stupid speeds, too damn slow.

I noticed that it's the screw in bump stops that cause the wobbling.
Their height is wrong. They should be a little taller for the hood to rest solidly on them. I unscrew mine a bit to keep it tight whenever the hood start wobbling haha.

I never had this problem on my '00.

I know what you mean. The headlight gaskets (<$20/15min) simple aero fix (no brainer), reduces hood flapping at high speed. Plus the "CAD" channels grill air up at the hood & should worsen the problem. But it's good & stable with just the gaskets.

All the XXR's are under $200/ea? Thats about right for a lot of the wheels today. Right around $200/ea and then the rubber is extra. Now dirt cheap wheels can be had for about $100/ea. You can get good wheels nowadays for a little over $1k.
