Check out "Something's missin" and "The King's Khrysis." He's good. better than a lot of the garbage that is out there but i will admit he does need to step it up with the emotional appeal.

ethos, its what makes you want to turn up the volume and bounce to the beat and memorize the lyrics.

It sounds like some ol' b1tch **** but how many rappers play off that **** is incredible, like any body that is a variation of crunk music plays off of emotional appeal, Perfect example is Waka Flocka, thats all he is. Another good example is Busta Rhymes.

nah Nas and Lupe are not weak because the make up for what they lack in logic, its not like they cant give off emotion but they dont give up much of it. Jay is another example. Put it like this who are you going to listen to when you want to work out or go for a drive? Who are you going to listen to when you are just chillen drinking a beer?

 

i have everybody in their perspective lane...when i'm in chill mode and wana think...old Jay-Z...or damn near any Jay-Z and Kanye record...cept Mercy , Lupe or old school like temptations phil collins type ****

but when i'm working out or on a road trip or working on the car...it's ratchet music central in my ears..2 Chainz, Waka (if i can find a track i like by him, usually just singles), etc
