When I was a kid, 36 was the "old man" threshold, because that was the age I always knew I would be when the year 2000 rolled around. Weird, but that's how it worked. But by the time I was in college, I started seeing 50 as the new old-man-age, and that's stuck with me ever since. Sadly, I only have 2 more years to go. My $.02. Don't overlook the BFGoodrich tires. I used them in the past & was VERY pleased. Good traction/wear. Although apples to oranges I had these BFG soft compound/open tread off road tires on my 79 Bronco. It could hang with sporty cars on ramps despite F/R straight axles & LIFT kit. Good testimony to the tire's grip & I'd get ~40K out of a set, not bad wear all things considered.



FYI; BFG's main claim to fame is a history of competitively racing street tires i.e. "The BFG Tirebird" in the 70's.

Sorry to disagree, but both cars though desirable from a collector's standpoint are toilets on the road. I've been in a modded GNX, & Monte SS. A modded Mk4 Supra turbo will out accelerate both & is way better on top end. The GM products are so aero bad they start flapping in the wind & the windows got sucked out/open @ ~120Mph. It's very unsettling to push them faster even though the potential's there. But since the Supra was ahead & pulling away, pointless.
