anybody try the B&M knock off or Ralco RZ short shifters?

Ralco STS from Clutchflywheel; 62.99. The throw difference is amazing, instant shifting. Sometimes its a hard to get into reverse, when I say sometimes I mean very rarely, but I love the shifting, never missed any gears since installed ether
Speaking of install it is a PITA. I followed the TWM guide it took myself about 2 hours and 30 minutes. Step 11 working around the cat busted up my knuckles because my knuckles would rub on the cat but id remove the cat to make your life easier just my cat is on there pretty good..Step 19 is what took most the install. I really messed up my knuckles trying to get the bolt to line up. But honestly worth the struggle, i love it.

Short throw is ALWAYS a good thing when your car has a throw like my old diesel truck... The stock throw on my old GSR was like going from 1st to neutral on the Maxima...

EDIT: alright girls I just bought it. I'll compare to my REAL B&M STS. Should arrive by the end of this week Friday hopefully.

Well i went ahead and bought it. The quality seems to be just as good as the B&M i had, looks identical. auction claims it is "the same as B&M" but not sure if it is an exact replica with the same throw reduction. does anyone have pictures of the acutal B&M to compare the angle?? IIRC B&M claimed 40% while this is 30%. if its the same, its a bargain.
will have to install it one of these days

Ok guys the install is so much better if you remove the catalytic converter, it takes like an hour or maybe more, what i dont like about this sts is that its pretty damn hard when you are trying to switch gears and also 3rd & 5th hits that plastic around the shifter, i may have to look around and see if I didnt do anything wrong but its to damn hot right now.

Update: My review
I installed the Ralco STS in my 95. I think the quality is very good for the price ($65). Install was easy since my cat to flex connection was rusted and it was hanging out of the way. Would be a lot more difficult with the cat in the way, but that would apply to any sts for the max. My only little difficulties were getting the rubber boot (vapor/water barrier) back underneath its retaining ring where the shift lever goes through the floor. Also I had to file slightly the opening where the ball on the bottom of the shift lever goes through, it was slightly to big to fit through the hole, and I didn't want to pound on it.
Hardware was nice allen bolts that go in from underneath car and through threaded mount, and then it also comes with nylock nuts for the top side which I thought was a nice touch.
I took great care to lubricate the horizontal bolt under the car that attached to the shift rod going to the trans. Also made sure I did not overtighten that bolt so it would crush and bind.
The **** that comes on the shifter is very heavy, and the shift lever itself is very solid, I was impressed with the quality, especially considering the cost.
Shift throw is drastically reduced, as in nearly half. At first I though the shifter was hanging up on the neutral gate, but that was actually second gear. Basically second, fourth and reverse are where neutral used to be. The shifter never comes back past the front have of the opening where your leather boot is inside the trim ring.
Shift effort is slightly more, but it is not difficult to shift. You could describe it as notchy, which I personally prefer, it has a very positive engagement. "defined" as another orger described would be accurate. I used the stock **** and not the metal one the kit came with. (too cold for winter). This shifter and my long overdue new clutch has made me fall in love with my Max again.
I would highly recommend the Ralco STS. I have not personally driven a car with the B&M, however the quality of the ralco is there, the performance is better than I expected and this coupled with the price, I feel it makes it a no-brainer.
Hope this helps anyone on the fence about ordering it.
