looks a bit like a scam to me. Lack of details and a phone number tip me off. You could try to contact them. If they don't start talking about paying through ebay and shipping it to you, go check it out.

Looks like a scam, but who knows -- I just pick an 02 up for $1500.

Email them, won't hurt to ask.

Yeah, if it's too good to be true, it is. I found this one in the San Diego listings yesterday: http://sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/ctd/3026236275.html I decided what the heck and emailed them and this is the response I got:

From: Isabel Barber [isabarber36@gmail.com]
Subject: Re: 2000 Nissan Maxima SE Sedan - $3810

Hi,

The vehicle is well maintained, never been damaged and it has 86,140 miles, a clear title, 3.0L V6 FI DOHC 24V engine and is loaded with options. You will inspect it before the payment will be made, I moved to Williston, ND with my job and I have the vehicle here with me. The shipping and insurance are included in the price because I won a promotion at uShip(1 free shipping). You will also receive all the papers(title, bill of sale etc) in order to finalize the purchase with the vehicle. Email me back if you are interested and have further questions..

Thank you,

I replied HAHAHAAAA! Then I looked for the ad again and flagged it as spam

Yeah, right!

They will ship you the car with all the papers... And my cat it's made of cheese and filled with liquid chocolate!

The sad thing it's that a lot of people falls into this kind of scam, that's why they keep appearing everywhere.

It's like here in Mexico, where some guy sells you a Ferrari or another exotic car (with a little damage) in a ridiculous price but they tell you that you must travel to a place far away from the city, with the money on cash.

F**K you scammers!

Believe me my friend, with one fool that fall in this kind of scam it's enough for them, and they move to another place before the authority can catch them.

Another scam and very dangerous it's when they sell you a "HOT" car (stolen from the wife, lover, boyfriend of some drug dealer) and they give you the car with false papers. Then when you try to get the license plates the authority catch you and the drug dealer will know in matter of hours that you are in jail by trying to get license plates for the stolen car of her couple. Then the drug dealer will pay someone to give you a "visit" in jail.
