After I replaced all the spark plugs, noticed the engine light turned on. Went to autozone and got the code P1320. Searched and it seemed to be either any of the coils or the harness connectors. The engine still runs fine, and there was no warning light before. The middle harness connector on the back bank lost a clip, so it doesn't snap on, though I wasn't sure whether it was broken before or by myself during the work (didn't recall anything wrong). Anyway, shouldn't it matter if I pushed it all the way down? Tried unplug it, the engine went rough. How to narrow down the problem? Get a new coil or a connector? The connector seems to be a single-piece part, do I need to cut the three wires on the tail?

I take it you have a 00-01? If so, the P1320 is a common code that comes up. It's a primary ignition fault code. I've had it now for over a year.

Causes for it can be non-OEM coil packs (not bought at the dealer) or the crank position sensors. I believe there's another possible cause for it, but I can't recall what it is.

Also, do some searching. There are several threads regarding the P1320 code.

 

Thank you for your reply. Yes, it is a 00 maxima. I had only changed the spark plugs, so I guess the coil packs or the sensors should not be a problem. So you have the engine lights on for a year? Never a problem? I'm debating whether to take it to the shop, never thought change plugs would give me such a headache.
