Tranny issue

First time poster, long time member. I have an 02 maxima with 253k miles that is immaculate in every respect and im looking at doing some overhauling. The tranny is acting funny, it hesitate going into gear at a light, and if i make any sudden change in engine rev, it hesitate to pickup again. I found a used tranny with low 15k miles that im considering swapping out. What inspections can i get a shop to perform on the used tranny and whether you guys think i should buy a upgraded torque converter. I dont race, but wouldnt mind increasing street performance at good price. Thanks in advance

oh sorry i meet the transmission has 70k also i was texting from my mobile phone i bought the car from some old Indian guy in NYC with a salvage title the car run fine and fresh i don't know why the car was salvage it had a few dents from an accident that all i drove the car for one month and 1/2 with no issue i didn't had no registration or insurance i couldn't lol but it did not matter all i wanted from the car is the engine for my 2001 maxima 3.5 swap in progress right now i recently post a thread and picture of me starting the swap and removing the torque converter check it out i strip the maxima of part and then i junk it with out taking the vin im sorry man but i don't have the vin and the trans is not rebuilt i check to see if the vin is located on the engine but i cant find it but the trans is legit i'm asking for 350.00 i have no need for it

I would advise like the guys said checking the T. Converter......You would be better off getting a low mileage tranny if you have to do that instead of a rebuild, rebuilds of these transmissions are for the most part garbage thats why alot of us would advise against that option.
