TV antenna installation?
TV antenna installation?
I got a replacement head unit last year (shown) and I noticed it has an option for television. I've never heard of this feature being avalable on a car except for really expensive ones. Does anyone know how that works or have installed such an antenna before?

I went looking on eBay and found this. Would this work?

There are antennas that look something like a trunk spoiler but are kind of a wide-spread letter V that MIGHT be better than that stick thing on ebay. Maybe you've seen them on these stretch limos, although limos seem to be getting rid of them.
You should understand that other than bragging rights, reception will vary with what direction you drive and how far away from the transmitter you are. You go into Center City and you probably won't get anything. Then there are the channels that you will receive. At home you probably have cable or satellite with a couple of hundred choices. Broadcast through the air channels will be a lot less, probably between 6 and 10.
Personally, I wouldn't waste my time or money.
