What intake to use?
I finally got a full time job with a pretty good pay. So now it's time to start fiddling with my car. What kind of intake should i install? I was looking at Stillen's and it's like $195. That's totally way too much, i think. Any tips? Thanks!!

with Stillen and Jim Wolf, you get a nice looking and shinny velocity stack. others, you don't.
you can even make a custom intake using a universal cone filter and a nissan adapter for even less..
want some cold-air? we got that one too!! Place Racing offers CAI system for Maximas.
go to www.maximadriver.com and read some articles on intake under TECH section. good luck!

I think irvine78's custom intake would give a better flow because his is a Stillen cone intake (velocity stack), while this Frankencar intake is just basically an adapter to a normal cone intake. BTW if you just want to buy the adapter, you can go to this page.. http://www.procarparts.com/store/dis...pid=sk-9099MAX they sell it for 27 bucks with filter. And then you go to a muffler shop or a place like where irvine78 went and do your custom intake for 20 more dollars.... Just a thought
