Remote Start and Auto Adjusting Driver Seat issue

I just got the Viper 5704 installed in my 03 Maxima and I just noticed that the seat does not adjust automatically when the key is inserted in the ignition. It does however work fine if I start the car normally. Is this how it is supposed to work? or should I go back the the shop that installed the system?

Accessory power 3 needs to be hooked up its not a standard option the same way your radio isnt on until you insert the key to take over the remote start or have it hooked to a trigger gonna be extra charge

Nice! Thank you I will call them and let them know.
I have an aftermarket radio installed and that comes on with the remote start but I also just noticed is that the OEM security LED keeps flashing even after i insert the key and begin to drive.

Mine does this too. After you get in and turn the key, open and close the door. When I do this, my seat then adjusts

There is a 3 position rocker switch near your left leg that turns this behavior on(set to AUTO). When the door is opened, the seat slides back to allow for easier egress. When you close the door, it slides forward into the remembered position.

Its a two position switch.

There's no ACC 3 circuit as far as I know. Key sense has to be grounded via the remote start module. You can use the negative (-) low voltage outputs for either acc or ign off the remote start box.

Thus the car will think you are inserting the key --> the box on the top left.

i was saying use ACC 3 off the alarm module to power this circuit when the car is remote started and keysense gets hooked to pin 25 of the secu

Mines does too. I don't think it supposed to do that though. Does your OEM Security LED keep flashing even after you begin to drive?
