Need some Exhaust Advice...

So I think its time to do more exhaust work to my 03. Right now I am running OBX V2 Headers, OEM CAT, OEM B-Pipe and a Cattman axleback. Whenever I start my car i get a horrible heatshield type rattle from the center of the car. So last night I put the car in the air, hit the remote start, and found the horrible noise coming from the OEM Resonator... All heat shields are tight.

So that gets me to my main question... WHAT SHOULD I DO??? I love the Pissed off Infiniti sound i get from my car, but I dont know if I just want to replace the b-pipe with another OEM Replacement, Just weld in a new resonator, or get a Stainless B-pipe from an aftermarket system and bolt that in...

What would you do? Any suggestions?

Thanks

This.

No question. Just get the biggest & best resonator you can in there. The stock B pipe is VERY restrictive.

any suggestions as to which system to look into? Ive been out of the loop of quality exhausts because I set this one up YEARS ago, and have left it alone...

Dunno bro. With the Catman rear you might be ok with a generic megan or whatever b pipe.

But I dunno. I hate rasp so i'd probably go custom and put a massive resonator on there, none of the off the shelf b pipes have a big **** resonator.

I agree with Tuner here, the rest of your setup is excellent, and you're splitting hairs when it comes to finding the best b-pipe/resonator out there. You're not going to see gains from one over the other. You should see gains over factory, but just going with a Megan b-pipe, or another brand that offers a 2.5" to 3" B is going to serve it's purpose just fine I think.

You could piece together you're own B-pipe and resonator, and maybe save a little cash, though I'm not sure how much.
