Intermittent slow cranking issue 2000 SE auto

Ok guys I've done a lot of searching without finding a definitive answer to my issue. I've found related issue but not similar to mine. Car has 185k and the past few months my car has had a slow start sometimes not every startup. It ALWAYS starts the first time regardless if the issue it happening or not. When the issue does happen it seems like there is not enough power to get it started but it always fires up. My battery is just 2 years old and I just had it and the alternator checked back in march and they were good to go. I have all grey dot coils and NGK laser platinum plugs with 10k on them. Only CEL is p1130 which is the swirl control solenoid valve. It never has the issue when the car is cold, when it does decide to start slow the car is at operating temp. As soon as it starts no more issues. It runs great besides his slow start issue. I've checked the resistance for the camshaft position sensor and it's within spec. I have read several threads and I added a tranny to negative terminal ground but it didn't help anything. Any advice as to things I can check would be appreciated.

so I went to advance and had my battery, alternator, and starter tested and everything checked out fine. The guy at advance told me to check the ignition switch so I will have to read up on how to test that and go from there.

If the engine is cranking slow, I think the starter itself is more likely the problem than the ignition switch. Our starters use a tiny electric motor that spins at high speed and goes through a gear reduction to turn the flywheel. The gear reduction is a planetary type gear set that has the tendency to have the lubrication dry out, which slows the final cranking rpm. If this happens, the starter will usually still pass the no-load spin tests that the auto parts stores do. If the lack of lubrication hasn't damaged the shafts the planetary gears spin on, you can lube them and not have to buy a starter.

thanks for your input, you were right it was the starter, it lasted for the year and a half I had the car and it always cranked slow but always started. Idk how long the previous own had changed it but it was a junkyard starter that was on it. I just got a remanufactured from advance with a warranty and now she starts like a dream. What ironic is I had the starting and charging system tested yesterday morning and it died that afternoon. advance guy told me it was fine. So I had the one I purchased tested before I left and it checkout out fine. installed it in about 30 min and she fired right now really strong start now.
