Any free horsepower mods?
so since I'm new to the maxima community I wanted to know if their are any tips/tricks to get free horsepower like any other car, are these cars mod friendly? My car is stock so what should I start to do to get the ball rolling.

First one that comes to mind is the Ghetto Airbox mod...basically cutting holes/a section from the side of your airbox to allow more air to flow.

Another is to gut your cats.

Especially if he's new to the community that probably means new to a Maxima and therefore unsure of the previous care schedule.

My economics teacher would say nothing is free though. Even if you don't spend money on it, that would be time you could have spent doing something else, ie lost opportunity.

Only true free mod I can think to add horsepower is to go on a diet. Actually would put money in your pocket! Eat less so saving on food costs, and lighten your car, so you regain lost power from reducing fat roles. You would also see some savings at the fuel pump.

naw the camel just pissed in the tank lol... im thinking im gonna try his shyt inection, should clog the system up for a few then KABOOM!!! a big back fire to get me across the 1/4 a sec faster

Make sure you get Egyptian camel ****. They drink out of the Nile river, and that yields the best **** for combustion.

Syria is on the verge of a civil war, and they run their camels hard and aren't taken care of very well. The quality of their **** isn't as good as the Egyptian ones.

+1. There is no "free horsepower." At minimum, everything could be considered some sort of compromise.

However, a diet will not actually improve power output. It will just improve your power-to-weight ratio (again, see above) Plus, you might not be as happy because can't eat your favorite unhealthy food... so there's that.

MAINTENANCE
1. Run 91+ octane gas ONLY!
2. Seafoam.
3. Clean TB, IACV, MAF. Then Idle relearn procedure.
4. Have tire pressure between 32-38 psi. 2psi in the front higher than the rear.
5. Full synthetic oil change with K&N oil filter.
6. NGK Iridium IX Spark Plugs.
7. Brake rotors+pads.
8A. FOR AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION, get a Hayden 404 or B&M 70268 Transmission Cooler.
8B. Transmission Flush with Amsoil or Redline D4.
9. OBDII scan tool!!! It will pay itself!!!

PERFORMANCE
1. GAB Mod. I recommend modifying the OEM air filter holder vs. the cloth hanger method to keep the K&N panel filter snugged tight. All you need to get is the K&N panel filter and hand saw.
2. Y-pipe+2.5" or 3" catback exhaust system.
3. 17 Degrees Timing Advance.

SUSPENSION
1. FSB
2. RSB
3. Coilovers

Nothing that's going to be worth it. Just do the following.
- built motor. (cams/valvetrain/rod bolts/head studs etc.)
- ECU.
- nitrous.
- coilovers.
