single turbo or twin

Two smaller turbos will spool much quicker than one larger one. The main benefit to this is quicker power for a daily driver in traffic, especially if you need to make a quick move. Having driven several types of turbo'd cars, I can say from experience that driving a big turbo'd car in traffic sucks. There's no time for it to spool and make power to merge or maneuver. By the time you spool and make a move, some soccer mom in a minivan already jacked the spot you were going for.

We drive fwd cars, traction is a joke with these horsepower levels.

I just remember reading an article of maxima back in high school 02/03 maybe about the car... at the time I wasn't in to maxima's..

Traction loss not because FWD, Traction loss because crappy FWD, suspension, layout, etc.
FWD is a fast path to the wheels, these cars just suck ***** at putting it down to the pavement.
But RWD >
Don't get dragged in, Flava, this is our local troll, he probably was confused, and hazy from hanging in his laundromat. Was probably actually looking at a civic he bought, sold, re bought, then traded for a sick tripple turbo'd bike, which he later sold to get back the Maxima he originally had, which he ported and polished and modded the crap out of while it wasn't in his possesion.
And so on.

even without the turbo the vq can make alot a power, that being said we all know that there are 9 sec civics that are still front wheel drive, its all a matter of how it puts the power to the ground. beef up powersteering and use stronger and bigger front end parts along with a stiffer rear suspension should help with traction, but that parts avalibilty for the maxima is limited. as T_behr said two turbos will act as if it was a larger turbo but run with the efficency and responsiveness of a smaller one thats why compound turbos are so popular in the diesel world...now when i talk about twin turbo im speaking of a true twin like what the 300zx had otherwise its compound in my mind

now compound turbos run more efficiently than a single turbo, they run cooler temps more volume off of less power used, so if someone wanted to twin turbo the vq it would offer them better power, better fuel economy, and cooler intake temps. which in turn means better reliability...less boost same flow same power over power used. at least in the diesel world
