PRNDL

Good Morning everyone,
Just noticed on the weekend that my dash cluster that houses the PRNDL. The "N" does not light up. All the other lights function. Are these a light or are they a LED? Its one of those small things that will bother me now. I know its petty, but its the only thing wrong with my car. Any help would be nice. Thanks.

I think they're LED's, one for each light. Strange that it's not working. I would try not to worry about it, it's a pretty big job to fix it.

i was asking if he punched it and it may have flickered, if so, it's a weak soldering connection

I just took a look at the wiring diagram and they are definetely LED's. Which leads me to believe its the park/neutral position switch, which tells the car what gear it is in. I just have to try to see if the starter works in neutral and it will most likely point me in the right direction.

Good thinking, nice to see a 'noob' using his melon and doing some digging, I'm very impressed!
