i just recently bought my car and i wannna change all the fluids and take it in for a check up. VQ35 (DE) engine with 89k miles.

-what type of oil do you suggest
-filter?

Any other suggestions regarding the miles and any coming mantinence problems? Thanks!

You will probably have to soon replace the power steering high pressure hose. Also check out the crank pulley as those are known to be a common point of failure. Pre-cats tend to go bad sometimes. That's it as far as what I have dealt with.

 

Thanks for that info!! Im not sure what oil was in it before but i checked the level today and it was kinda low so i put about a half quart of Mobil1 10w30. im going to get rinse all the fluids and do an oil change in a few days but thanks for all the info!

 

keep an eye on your oil level over the next few days(depending on how much you drive the car). The oil could have never been filled properly from its last oil change, you have an oil leak, or worst case you have an oil burner.
