High Idle After warm up

High Idle After warm up
Hey Guys
Been searching some people are saying idle relearn. Let me know what you think.
Problem:
I was bored so I adjusted the throttle cable (reduced slack) and everything was fine. Started car, drive around no problems with idle. But once in a while after a warm run it would start to idle high (200-300 RPM above regular idle rpm).
What would cause this ? When it does this, if I turn off the car and start it again it idles fine again.

For starters.. put the tension back to where it was and see if the problem goes away. If there's no slack at all it can hold the throttle slightly open and would cause your problem.
If it doesn't fix the problem then do the idle relearn in the FSM.
If that doesn't help, use the FSM procedure for testing and setting the position of TPS. Make sure that's to spec, and then idle relearn once again.
