Slight oil drip from pan

Have a brand new pan, brand new bolts ... apparently one of the threads for the bolts is stripped and the bolt does not fully tighten. Oil is now dripping from this bolt hole at about a drop per minute. In a day it loses about a few ounces I would say.

I am not really sure how to correct this situation. Do you think I should tap the threads and see if the bolt holds correctly after that?

I was thinking of seeing if a nut can fit on the back of the bolt from the top and tighten it down that way. Any help would be appreciated.

Why not just replace the bolt?

Before doing the helicoil try tapping the hole to recondition the threads and use a new bolt. Sometimes this is all it takes. If that doesn't take then do the helicoil.
