Hey sikhmaxima, While your at it you may as well ask for a thread on exhaust, and one on headers.

Just get an Injen Cold Air Intake and whenever you know it's going to rain, take out the longer end of the piping to make it a shortram. Best of both worlds.

My smart remarks? Yeah, don't mind the other 2 people who made similar remarks. And you don't need OUR smart remarks, That's just fine because we don't need you on this forum. Oh and USE THE DAMN SEARCH BUTTON.

of course! cause you're a genius -__-

LOL then leave. you're one of those who just posts for the sake of posting something so maybe you can get a nice convo going about intakes between members.

the thing you don't get is that this site has been here for 10+ years... don't you think someone asked your exact (or similarily worded) questions hundreds of times before?

have you interested yourself in google/maxima.org/ebay searching to learn what intakes do and the 2 types you have?; to see what brands are currently available and how much they cost; to see installation instructions to see if you can DIY etc.

there are so many 'how to' stickies in every generation section of this site that you didn't bother to look at. there's also the search function you can use to educate yourself.

there are people here that have been here for ages that got tired of the same questions so they made stickies for people like you. they're also here to help but ONLY if you do some research first and come back with some decent questions. no one wants to help a pre-noob lol ya there's something lower than noob

to answer your original question: get anyone you can afford/want... see? that didn't help right? now go and learn

Injen CAI, is expensive but sounds amazing at high RPMs, but beware you'll see a substantial decrease in MPG, because you'll want to always bust it

A lot of criticism goes to Injen because it's filter is placed next to the radiator where hot air would be, it's just a matter of personal opinion. A real upgrade and cheaper option would be a GAB (ghetto air box) do a search on the forums you should find many tutorials!

And yes you can convert the Injen to a short ram as well.

Hope this helps!
