Does anyone here own both a 2K1 pathfinder and a 2K max?

The reason I ask, can you please look and see if the steering controlson the 2K1 pathfinder will fit on the 2K max's steering. Someone here said a nissan mechanic hooked them up with what he thinks was a the controls from a 2K1 pathfinder.

Or, do you know if the 2K1 pathfinder definitely has the same steering as the 2K1 max. That would put an end to my quest (at least this one ).

 

The steering wheel controls on our 2001 Pathfinder LE look the EXACT same as the steering wheel on older (non-2002) Maximas. Since we ordered the Pathfinder, the dealer gave us a 2001 Maxima for the 2 weeks until it came in. The steering wheel looked/functioned the exact same in both vehicles.

 

I have a 2K Max and a 2K1 Pathfinder, The controls DO look like they may fit. I assume your talking about the radio controls? Let us know what you end up doing, I would love to have the radio controls on my max.

Would you kindly check as best as you can the possibilty of a physical dimension fit. If you can see how it attaches.

I already pretty much have the electrical wiring and parts down.

 

I'll take a look sometime this weekend at the Pathfinder -I assume we're talking radio controls here. My Pathfinder has what looks like the same steering wheel as my 2K Max, if I confirm a physical fit you have the wiring down? Is this going to work on the NON Bose system? After driving the Pathinder for a while (my wifes) I get in my Maxima and reach with my thumb all the time to change the radio, this my really be cool!

 

radio controls are different, at least on my 2k1 max. the volume is above and below the change station buttons. on my dad's 2k1 pathfinder, the volume is located on the side of the control.
