Steering Rack Differences

So I am shopping around at carsteering.com for a new rack and pinion and noticed that there are two different part numbers. One is for all vehicle equipped with 16" wheels and the other is for vehicles equipped with 17" wheels. I have the 16" SE wheels on my car and my question is will I have better "feel" if i upgrade to the rack for the 17" wheels or should i stick with the stock rack?

Thanks

Stick with stock. 16" wheels means your car has the VQ30, and even though 17s were optional on the 00 and 01 Maxima, the 17s do suggest that the other rack is for the 02 and 03 with the VQ35. The 02 and 03 Maximas had wider turning circles due to the greater TQ capability of the motor, so Nissan dialed back the turning circle to prevent the VQ35 from shredding its CV joints.
