I was curious if anyone else running the G coupe 18's has had a problem with the front Nissan center caps not fitting snug because of the axle. I had the same wheels on my other max and they fit but i bought them used and don't know what vehicle those center caps came from. I was thinking about running a 3/5mm spacer just to get them to clear. Any idea's ?

 

they fit when i had them just weren't flush. i had no spacer

 

i remembered that i had the same problem when i first tried to put my nissan centercaps in too.. i think it was because there was a metal click piece that was sticking out from the rod, had to do some tinkering with it but it with in the end

 

There is a certain year 350Z center cap that clears the axle i just forget what year and don't want to order the wrong ones. Screw it ill throw some 5mm spacers on the front for now. Thanks guy's

 

This is what I did on my 17" G35 Coupe wheels...

Took Nissan logo off the center cap, drilled hole to allow axle to clear...


Bought Nissan center cap stickers off eBay and placed over center cap...
