No problems. I also have hyper whites in the markers too, and I have passed many cops and haven't gotten pulled over. If you do get the clear side markers, just go the extra step and get hyper/super white bulsb for it. The lenses are already illegal to begin with, why not top it off with some nice looking bulbs. It is higly unlikely that you'll get pulled over for just the clear markers, but if you get pulled over for speeding or something, then they might say something.

You could always buy a set of red bulbs and keep them in the glove box in case a cop pulls you over...then tell him that you were just returning from the store with the new bulbs and offer to put them in right there for him.

It's up to the police officer's current quota if he really wants to
spend his time giving you a ticket over a side marker.

If you get pull over for speeding or other traffic violation, that
clear marker ticket is coming as well.

Also, passing inspection (depends upon your state) can be quite
difficult with such mod.

Well that is what I thought too, "I HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS YET"...... Well the key word is "YET" They can give you a ticket whenever they feel like, and it can be a warning or a full ticket depending on a cop.

Like I mentioned over 50times now to other people, I got pulled over in Baltimore 4weeks ago and got 8tickets, not warnings, TICKETS for all the illegal stuff such as dark tint, use of hyperwhite/blue bulbs, clear corners, neon license plate frame, windshield washer leds.

I mean he racked me that day, so it can happen.

Clear Corners are not illegal in VA!!!!

The clears are not illegal, it is based on the output of the light, rears have to be red and front have to be amber. I asked a VA state trooper and he told me that, hehe. He did look at my tinted windows though and shrugged his shoulders, my front two are a tad darker, he didn't give me a ticket though, nice guy!!

well some people might go 4 years and never get in trouble for it, and some people could go 4 days and get a ticket. it depends on your luck..

I have clear corners and realize that I'm taking a chance. May never get a ticket, but if I do, well, I'm not going to cry over it, I knew it might happen.

On the box it says that they are for "Off-Road" or "Show" purposes only and are not legal for street use because they are not DOT or SAE approved.

ITs illegal to have blue bulbs in your sidemarkers here in tampa, I've been harassed for making a right turn, which was legal, but the blue flash from the sidemarker got me in trouble (in my accord).

BTW< eortiz15, phat sig, where did you get your amphibious model GXE?

Never put blue bulbs on the outside. You are just DEMANDING to get pulled over.

Remember BLUE is a reserved color for our fellow law enforcement agencies.

I've gone through three different bulbs and the Polarg M-series is the best...its still pink though.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. Love the clears when the lights are off, but the rears look funky with them on. The fronts are GREAT with the M-series amber bulb. I wish I could get a brighter red bulb. I was thinking of getting some red cellophane right in the center of the clear on the inside. If I could find some red cellophane with a mirrored surface, the red should be pretty well hidden on the outside, but light would come through at a darker red color. Just a thought which I haven't had the time to give life to.

I would go back to the OE rears, but with the 2K2 tails, I think the clears look better back there.

One place is Auto Image Enhancement
I think this is the exact link to the LED Bulbs
I'm sure some other places have them as well.
Autodynamic.com has 194 wedge LED bulbs if anyone is looking for those.

the red leds are no better than the red polarG 194 wedge bulbs... I've tried the LEDS, polarGs and eurolite wedge bulbs. the best were the eurolites, the bulbs are like a dark wine color, but they still look lighter than the tail lights. the leds were realy bad cuz the rear marker is big and the light doesn't reach all the way around so its just red where the bulb is. its a lose-lose situation
