quick question, regarding headlights and fogs
i have noticed that the left side of my car (headlights, fogs, indicator) is a fair bit dimmer than my right side. I know the grounds are seperated from each side, but does the fog, headlight and indicator share the same ground for each side?
thanks in advance.
thanks in advance.
In so many words, yes. While each of those bulbs has its own ground wire, those wires all come together at a common point. To save on wire, nissan uses many ground points spread out all over the car. Look around in the area of the headlamp for wires screwed to the chassis of the car. if you see any rust or corrosion around it, remove the wire and clean the mating surfaces.
thanks so much, i know where the headlights are grounded on the frame rail and i know each bulb runs its own ground to "x", i was just curious if they all shared the same grounding point at the rail there, i will try cleaning it up a bit to see if it makes any change.
thanks again
