6th vs 5th Generation Maxima?

6th vs 5th Generation Maxima?
Any opinions on how it differs from a 5th/5.5 gen? Are the steering & suspension similar?
I may be back........ready to hop in something newer than an '02 and under 100k miles (for the first time ever). Anyone who forgot about me....used to have an '02 I35 (aka 5.5gen Maxima), traded it for an '02 TL, and now ready for a newer car (new = maybe '04-'07 range and probably >50k miles).
The I35 wasn't bad but the steering/suspension really annoyed me; wondering if it at least stiffened up in the later models of the Max.
