While mentioning Celica

I tested a 2000 white 4 speed sportshift today.
it was pretty fast for an auto
it sounded very nice when revved high
its back seat isnt cramped like other 2 door cars
its has nice bucket seats wether cloth or leather
has a nice gray/titanium look dash
i was looking for a silver 6 speed though
overall it was pretty good
the dealer was nice

I think alot of people have gotten better ET's than the magazines have achieved. There are so many variables its tough to get a solid number. Quite a few people have run 14.9's and 15.0's in stock Maxima's at 92-94 mph depending on the track and outside temperatures.

Its supposed to be a cool night (about 55 F for the low...maybe mid 60's at track time) on Tuesday of this week. I might go down to DeSoto and see if I can break my ET record.

Re: While mentioning Celica

How old are you?

So you were able to test the car, how? So you're not taking Mommy's Max?

That's very true... you can get better times in some Max's, doe to the variation in each car... those times are probably average... but the same goes for all the other cars, they could be faster or slower, so the #'s are good just to give you an idea of what you are up against.... I think the 0-80 are the best ones to look at since most races go past the 80 mph mark...
