Lowering 02 Maxima

I am new to doing mods to a car and don't really know what i should order to properly lower my car so there is no wheel gap. I don't want it slammed. Does lowering the car drastically change the way it rides if it is done properly?

IMO, get quality coilovers.

There are a few factors depending on if you go spring/ strut or coilovers. Generally the ride will be more firm.
