What to use to seal this?

What to use to seal this?

My 00 maxima se radiator is leaking at the top seam by the inlet hose. What can I use to seal the leak in the mean time till I get my radiator.

Not much you can do. Hope you're not driving it like that. Mine blew while driving and sprayed most of my coolant all over the engine compartment. Ended up changing the radiator on the side of the road. What's keeping you from getting a new one right now?

I'm not a big fan of the "stop leak" additives. They can cause more problems than they are worth! If you do use any of those stop leak quick fixes make sure to flush your coolant system completely BEFORE you install your new radiator.
I would simply wait until the car is cold, turn the radiator cap until the pressure lock is off but the cap is still retained and drive it that way until you get the new radiator. Being that it's winter in our hemisphere and not summer, you probably won't have any overheating issues.

It's no the way here, probably next Monday. This is my Daily driver. I've never had over heating issue but I started to smell coolant sitting in the traffic and mine also sprayed all over. Car's been sitting for few days now. Judging from the label,the radiator is still original made by Calsonic Japan. What I don't understand is that support piece s made out of plastic.

I tried to fix mine until my new radiator arrived. Used JB Weld, twice. No luck. When these tanks crack, that's pretty much it. DO NOT try to use anything that gets added to your coolant either. They don't work well (at best), especially not going to help on a plastic tank, and at worst they will cause problems elsewhere.
Get the koyo and avoid driving the car.

I was going to get koyo brand but couldn't wait till next week, I bought the one from Autozone today with lifetime warranty and they should be here this weekend for Monday install. I also get the thermostat also. I was glad it was the radioator not the water pump

I'm surprised Autozone didn't have it in stock; should've gotten it on the spot and take advantage of the weekend for the installation (unless someone else is doing it for you). In any case, you're way much better taking care of that problem now before it becomes something much worse.

Yeah, they have to get it from Seattle. I will do the R&R just didn't,t have time this weekend....busy retrofitting....

Got the Radiator last night and installed it. Took 2 hours,majority of the time was dealing with plastic clips,drain time, and clean up. Let the engine running till the fan came n with no cap to make sure no air was trapped. The only thing that I was concern was that the shroud fan mounting had to be self tapped with the original screw since it didn't have thread for the 6mm bolt, but it looked OK after install and no hair line damage

You will need to drive it around and bleed the air out (after it cools down a bit) to make sure.

a good thing to do, is crack your C.T.S (coolant temp sensor) loose or remove it completely when filling. being one of the higher points, it will allow most of the air to escape. once you see it drizzling out tighten and top off.

2 hours to change it seems a bit much. But yea I run it with the cap off until no more bubbles appear.
