Well my car thru the p0327 for the knock sensor. Replaced it car still has the light on. And I'm wondering if the vafc knock sensor wire has to be spliced into the vafc. Would this be the cause of my lagging problem? I have a vafcII

Could it be the MAF? I have heard ppl on here having problems with bogging. But this problems kinda started happening after the vafc install.

You set it to 0, or did you tune it or anything, I didn't do the install on my Neo, but no problems with it at Corrections sitting at 0 for like 25 days or now Tuned, for like 2 weeks...

All settings are at zero. I disconnected the knock sensor from the vafc and that seemed to fix the problem. I got a p0300 code after that erased it and know the car is running good no mis fires no nothing. I hope it stays like this but well see I have a feeling this isn't over. Plus I got a ticket yesterday for blue headlights, and modified exhaust. **** California! Lol

So I know have a p0037 code not sure how if I have Cattman headers and a o2 sim. Will this make my car misfire sometimes?

Got the same headers and doesn't make it mis fire rather tuned or not, dont you have like a 3.5 intake or a 3" LRmaf, or something?

Hella odd what exhaust you have, live in Cali also rolled by plenty of Cops Headers, Testpipe and 3"Exhaust, in Chula Vista, San Diego, Temecula, never been stopped for being loud, hope you dont have a Honda Edition on there....

It was for mine, when on the dyno with that it was like 18.1 at idle A/F ratio, when it would be at about 14.9-15.1 at idle and it would give a code for Random Misfire, switched back till stock till I got it Tuned....

It used to drive normal when I had barely got it it. I drove it like that for 6 months and know the problems are begging with that dumb p0300 I jus did the 6th valve covers, spark plugs laser iridium, new coil boots, and nwp spacers. This sucks!!! I already checked for leaks.

The reason it starts driving crappy, is because you are adding a lot of fuel with the larger MAF. It indirectly lowers your timing curve.

Why did it take so long to start this though

P0300 could it be the ignition coils?

Exactly, so to compensate for the more air that the MAF sensor can't see, you have to add fuel (increase MAF voltage).

Your fuel trims will also be high in closed loop.

One thing I noticed with the VAFC and LRMAF is that the car did run like crap because of adding so much fuel. With stock maf and no vafc the car ran a lot better.

But he is not adding no Fuel since his VAFC isn't doing anything he said all at 0 Default Mode, its just hooked up, I think waitng to be Tuned, so that is why I believe he is getting the Misfire I got the same thing but a Neo and Tuned right running Great and plenty are running the LRMAFs and seeing power.....

Did you buy OEM coils or Aftermarket....

If you bought OEM ones from Nissan you should be good but if you bought OEM from ebay, or Used that might be the Problem. I bought some fom ebay on my 03 OEM ones but they all Dominoed effect, one after the other so put others back in.
