Everything works BUT the stereo
My serpentine belt recently blew off. I replaced it along with the crank pulley and power steering belt. Got it all put back together. Started it up no problem. Everything electronically is functional except my stereo won't turn on. It's an aftermarket kenwood with an amp and subs.
Could it be from the battery losing power and the security in the stereo has kicked in? I know that can happen with the stock system... But with the aftermarket?
Help!

most aftermarket stereo's dont have security locks in them, it would be very odd for your kenwood to have one.
check the fuse for the radio, there's also a fuse on the back of the radio where the wiring harness plugs into it.

All fuses were good! I found this fantastical unworldly thing called the "reset button" under the face of the deck. I used my flux capacitor driver and gave er a shot. Eureka! Stereo came back to life.
Thanks for your help guys that was fun
