Sometimes the cd works and sometimes it doesnt.

mine used to skip when the car was cold. now it skips all the time. haven't been able to use it in years. i'm just glad that it also has a tape deck so i can use a tape adapter to hook up a phone or ipod.

The CD player portion is bad. Standard Bose problem. My CD player is going out too. It will work if it is very warm in the car, but when cold - no way.
