Please help! 03 maxima throttle response issue

ok, I just purchased a 03 titanium edition max clean car great shape. However dealing with a throttle response issue, I have searched up and down left and right .. This started yesterday and I started driving suddenly no throttle response as I am accelerating ... Then barely started back up finally get it running again and take it for a drive and sure enough happens again ..

I replaced the Throttle body with sensor today .. same issue after trying over and over again and not revving higher than 2k rpms, finally starts up. I had to continuously hit the gas pedal then its revving again ..

no I don't want to keep throwing parts at it but I still feel slight hesitation the only code I get is for a 02 sensor .. and randomly a p0300 random/multiple misfire. nothing else .

Parts that have been replaced ...
all new oem coil packs
all new ngk plugs
new MAF sensor
replaced TB and sensor

my exhaust seems to look like its suffocating

is it a bad cat? would that affect my throttle?

cam sensors?

thanks

maybe the sensor on the gas pedla, but it should be throwing a code. Did you do the throttle relearn procedure and idle air relearn?

Just did that today I hope it works. Funny thing is when it was happening if I reset the ses light it would run fine .. but did the relearn and seems to be good I pray that works.code had something to do with a spring even on the other throttle body I put in .

Whats your mileage? A plugged cat (which is not abnormal at all) can very much cause this.

Did you replace your coils cause they were bad or did you replace them for any other reason? Bad coil(s) will often let a bit o' unburnt fuel escape exhaust valves and can quickly plug precats and cats.

I remember when I cut the wires to the TB and then put cheap connectors on then, because I was test fitting the 09 Maxima TB, something like this happened to me. It would go into limp mode and could not rev more than like 2000 rpm and got SES codes saying TB position sensor and all. I found out it was those cheap connectors. So I redid the wires, soldered them and used electrical tape. No problems like that since.....might want to check your connection at the TB. I dont know if you were messing with the TB before and you did not connect something back up tight, or you were working under the hood of the car and jarred something loose from the TB. But its some kind of short that the ECU is seeing from the TB that is why its putting the ECU in safe mode.

I think its the cat in the middle I ordered a high flow cat .. miles are at 181 k plugs and coils are new

I will also double check the connection.

Did a throttle relean . Pending code p1121 returned shortly after . It has been driving ok though. Didn't do an idle relean seems to be idling ok sometimes and sometimes idles at 950 to 1 k would the idle causean issue ?
