map sensor help

I could really use some help with this. I've tried searching. And nothing come up with the problem im having. My moms 00 i30t has the service engine soon light on. And the code pertains to the map sensor. The scan tool shows 100hg on the readout...so it seems the ecu is getting a signal. The service manual states to check for voltage at the harness which is the red and black wire. I only get .2 volts. I believe important supposed to get 5 volts. I checked for continuity for ground and its good. Anything else i should try? I already swapped out the sensor for mine (seeing the harness is the same mine is a 99 i30t and both cars are cali emissions)...

Check the vacuum hoses that attach to the sensor. Make sure the hoses are still soft and flexible otherwise they can crack and leak. Check the entire hose, not just where it attaches.

I did. That's why i ended up testing the harness. Cause it has red wire for "powering" the sensor. Black for ground. And the white is the signal to report back to the ecu. And the service manual at work states to check for power at the harness which is supposed to be 5 volts. And im getting .2 volts
