my 2001 nissan maxima wont stay charged

I recently broke my clutch pedal ignition lock switch! I had so many people say that it was my alternator even though I told then that I lost all my gauges when it broke immediately and then once I ran it the battery lost its charge! So I replaced the alternator and the switch! Still not keeping battery charged and still no gauges! Help anybody please!

so the battery keeps going dead on its own? a parasitic draw will do that. to get the gauges going again, check your fuses first
