GI: 1/0 Gauge CCA 5th Gen Big Three Kit

I am trying to see if there may be interest in the community for a big three kit in the $60 to $70 dollar range shipped. The kit would use 1/0 gauge Copper Clad Aluminium wire that is rated at 260A maximum current at 25' which would make it approximately twice as conductive as my 4 gauge kit. It would have a 300A midi fuse on the hot lead wire, zip ties, all mounting hardware and come with full picture step by step instructions. I am also intending to use dual wall adhesive sealing on the connections since the kit contains a hot (anode +) lead wire in order to keep moisture out of the circuit. I intend to offer the same color as my grounding kit (black, blue and red). Just trying to get an assessment of interest before I make my decision of whether to offer the kit.

If you're planning on doing the big three, you might as well use OFC instead of CCA. OFC is true to gauge, runs cooler and more efficient, and allows more current, the only downside is that a 0 gauge OFC will run you $100-$200 from a reputable brand (kicker, Rockford fosgate, stinger, etc), avoid scorsche, sound quest, dual, or other crappy wire. The rule its that it takes twice as much cca to equal ofc. I don't have the big three in my max cuz I'm only running 600 watts on an alpine pdx m6 but i used a kicker 4 gauge amp kit from sonicelectronix for like $80

That is a great price!!!

If you need more current than that will provide you aren't buying a $70 kit.
Most cheap 4AWG kits sell in that range from what I recall.

Actually CCA has 67% the current handling capacity of OFC and it is half the weight as well. Keep in mind gauge is just a representation of wire conductor thickness not current handling capabilities so the fact that wire is OFC has nothing to do with being "true to gauge" the standard that exist in the US is SAE and AWG with AWG generally being regarded as the true to spec standard. The CCA I use is actually oversized at over 5200 strands at 34 gauge which has it teetering close to 2/0 gauge which is why the current handling level is pretty high (more than 2x OFC 4 gauge). Keep iin mind that the longest wire in this kit is only 5ft and it is clear: by the time you reach enough current to overwhelm this kit you probably also running multiple batteries and alternators as well and you would not be in the market for a $70 big three kit.

I'll pay right now if you have one made I have been wanting to do this for so long, but I was always too lazy to put the kit together.

Sorry, given the feedback I have gotten so far I will not at this moment do pre made big three kits. I can do one spec order as I have always done in 4 gauge or 1/0 gauge but I do not have the supplies on hand. The turnaround time for a spec order kit is 4 business days before ship out.
