Dealership Broke Something, Not Happy

I brought my car to the stealership and had them diagnose my idle/starting issue. It was the whole IACV/ECU bullsh*t, so whatever. There's $138 for something I could've found out myself.

Anyway, on the way home with my car and the red airbag light starts blinking on my dash. NEVER did this before since I've had the car, and now all the sudden they must've screwed something up so now I guess my airbag doesn't work? Cool.

I tried resetting the battery and all that stuff, but still nothing. Right now the car is sitting in my driveway until I can come up with the money to purchase an ECU, TPS, and IACV. If this doesn't fix all my problems, I'm junking the damn thing. I've never dealt with such a PITA money pit in my life. I've owned a Pontiac Sunfire, a Dodge Intrepid, and a Volkswagen Jetta. And not once did I have the problems that this car is having (and I've owned it for only a few months).

Anyway, is this air bag light tied in with the fried ECU? What will I need to do to fix this? (No, I'm not going back to that dealership)

I understood them to be seperate/ independant systems. Hate you're having all these issues.

I really doubt you need a new TPS, it's almost always just the ECU/IACV. Seems dealers just like to replace all 3 "just in case".

As far as the airbag issue, my airbag was fine even when I had a bad ECU/IACV, however the damage to my ECU was only the IACV driver chip. However if your ECU has horrendous damage, it's conceivable other circuits in the ECU could have been damaged, but offhand I'm not sure how close any of the airbag stuff is to the IACV chip, so can't say for sure.

Does the IACV/ECU issue throw the p1800 code?

No, it only throws P0505. I'm thinking it may have something to do with the tremendous hole in the motherboard, but what could be causing the red airbag light to flash like so? (It permanently flashes, does not go off when I'm driving)
